New work inspired by landscape and block printing

Nadia Attura uses a combination of film and digital in her work. She processes all print work in the digital darkroom adding filters, motifs and designs from her sketch book. Her work is professionally printed on fine art archival paper using gallery pigment archival inks.

In her art work she remains rooted to one spot, silent and still for hours, just watching, waiting, taking in as much as she can. The memory of being there then becomes as powerful as the sketch or photographs she has made. Nadia combines these personal memories with photography and print making.

Nadia studied Fine Art and then Photojournalism. She loves upcycling/recycling, stories, travel and good wine.

"A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words."
